Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 17, 2026
1. Data Collection
We collect information you choose to provide when using our forms and free tools.
Specifically, we collect the following types of information:
- Contact information such as your name, email, firm, role, or profession
- Professional information such as employment history, publications, awards, and achievements
- Resume text, questionnaire answers, and other information submitted to generate a requested output
- RFE notices you upload to the checker or voluntarily send by email; we ask you to redact identifiers that are not needed for the review
- Aggregate, cookieless page-view counts, unless you decline analytics; and basic device and usage information when Google Analytics is enabled for you
Please do not submit an entire client file when a narrower document will do. For RFE teardowns, redact names, receipt and A-numbers, dates of birth, addresses, signatures, and unrelated personal information.
2. Data Usage
We do not sell your personal data. We use submitted information to provide the feature you requested, operate the website, respond to inquiries, and protect the service from abuse.
We use your data to:
- Generate petition drafts, recommendation letters, and supporting documents
- Provide AI-powered suggestions and evidence mapping
- Read an uploaded RFE against published adjudication decisions and deliver the requested analysis
- Deliver requested workbooks, results, and service communications
- Maintain and improve the platform, using the analytics you have not turned off
- Ensure the security and integrity of our platform
We do not use the contents of your resume or immigration materials for third-party advertising.
3. Security
We use HTTPS/TLS for data transmitted between your browser and this website and limit access to the service accounts used to operate the site.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We minimize browser retention, avoid logging submitted document contents in application errors, use validation and rate limiting on public endpoints, and rely on our hosting and service providers' security controls. Contact us promptly if you believe information has been exposed.
4. Data Retention
Resume text and lead details used to move between free tools are stored only in your browser session and expire after eight hours or when the session ends. The marketing site does not intentionally save that resume text in its own application database. An RFE uploaded to the checker is processed for the requested analysis and is not intentionally saved in the marketing site's application database or attached to an admin notification. If you request an emailed report, the report contains the extracted deadline and analysis but not the receipt number; the separate lead notification contains contact details but no case facts. Contact records, delivered emails, support correspondence, and voluntarily emailed RFE notices may remain with our email provider and business mailbox for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. You may request deletion by contacting us, subject to records we must retain.
5. Third-Party Services
We use service providers to operate the website, including:
- Vercel for hosting
- AI model providers for generating the output you request
- Resend for contact records and email delivery
- Upstash for abuse-prevention rate limiting
- Vercel Analytics for aggregate page-view counts. It sets no cookies and carries no cross-site identifier, so it runs unless you decline analytics
- Google Analytics, which does set cookies. In the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it stays off until you allow it. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can turn it off at any time
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. AI prompts can include the professional and immigration information you submit, including an RFE uploaded for analysis, so provide only what the requested tool needs. You can decline analytics without losing access to essential site features. Declining turns off both Google Analytics and the aggregate page-view counts. Analytics Choices in the footer opens this control at any time, from anywhere on the site, and changes what you chose before. We store one cookie recording which consent rules apply in your country and one recording your choice; neither identifies you.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of data we control, subject to legal retention requirements
- Request a copy of personal data we can reasonably identify
- Opt out of marketing communications
- Withdraw consent for data processing where consent was provided
To exercise these rights, please contact us at irewole@exelita.com.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through a notice on our platform. Your continued use of Exelita after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Contact Us
